दुर्गापुर में विश्व फिजियोथेरेपी दिवस किया गया पालन

दुर्गापुर । विश्व फिजियोथेरेपी दिवस के अवसर पर, दुर्गापुर सिटी सेंटर के फिजियोथेरेपिस्ट एसोसिएशन ने नॉन-कंपनी हाउसिंग एसोसिएशन और नॉन-कंपनी रिक्रिएशन क्लब में फिजियोथेरेपी उपचार का आयोजन किया। कार्यक्रम का उदघाटन दीप प्रज्वलित कर किया गया। तपन बाद्यकर ने दीप प्रज्ज्वलित करने के बाद स्वागत भाषण दिया। कार्यक्रम के पहले भाग में फिजियोथेरेपी पर एक सेमिनार का आयोजन किया गया। वक्ताओं में डीएसपी अस्पताल के कंसल्टेंट ऑर्थोपेडिक डॉ. प्रियांक शाहू और फिजियोथेरेपिस्ट डॉ पल्लब चक्रवर्ती शामिल थे। इस कार्यक्रम में डीएसपी फिजियोथेरेपी विभाग के एजीएम तपन बाद्यकर, प्रख्यात पत्रकार कंचन सिद्दीकी, दुर्गापुर के पूर्व मेयर रथिन रॉय, डॉ. सतीश कुमार, डॉ. विकास मंडल, गैर-कंपनी संघ के अध्यक्ष परमानंद चटर्जी, प्रख्यात समाजसेवी सुदेव रॉय और रंजीत गुहा, डॉ. शर्मिष्ठा दास आदि उपस्थित थे। कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए तपन बाद्यकर ने कहा कि यह सोसाइटी विभिन्न रोगों से ग्रस्त रोगियों को स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रदान करती है। आजकल फिजियोथेरेपी उपचार एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण उपचार है। किसी भी गठिया रोग या दुर्घटना से ग्रस्त रोगियों को स्वस्थ रखने में फिजियोथेरेपी विभाग का महत्व अत्यधिक है। डॉ. प्रियांक साहू ने इस सेमिनार में उपस्थित विभिन्न लोगों के सभी अस्थि रोगों से मुक्ति पाने के उपायों पर प्रश्नोत्तर सत्र में भाग लिया और विभिन्न रोगियों को स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रदान की। अन्य वक्ताओं ने भी कहा कि फिजियोथेरेपिस्ट विभिन्न प्रकार के गठिया, घुटने के दर्द, कमर दर्द, गर्दन दर्द आदि सहित दुर्घटनाओं से पीड़ित रोगियों का इलाज वहीं से शुरू करते हैं, जहाँ डॉक्टर अपना इलाज समाप्त करते हैं। लोगों को रोग मुक्त बनाने में फिजियोथेरेपिस्ट की बहुत बड़ी भूमिका होती है। उद्घाटन समारोह के बाद, धन कंपनी मनोरंजन क्लब में आयोजित फिजियोथेरेपी शिविर में उपस्थित फिजियोथेरेपिस्टों से 100 से अधिक रोगियों ने विभिन्न उपचार प्राप्त किए। इस शिविर में अस्थि घनत्व और कैल्शियम की कमी को मापने के लिए अस्थि खनिज घनत्व मशीन का उपयोग किया गया और मधुमेह की सीमा निर्धारित करने के लिए कंपन धारणा परीक्षण किया गया। इस शिविर में लगभग 125 रोगियों ने भाग लिया।
